Hugh has two current projects:-
The music notebook of an ancestor dated 1787.
Czech music - more to come.

Hugh prepares and performs two or three concerts per year with the invaluable support of his long suffering accompanist Gill Smith. Most performances are in North or North-West Norfolk and are usually for charitable or other good causes.

Mozart Under the Influence is the most recent concert exploring the music of Mozart and the influences available to him that he did and did not absorb. This will be repeated in a slightly shorter form at St Margaret's Church Wells-next-the-sea on16 August 2012 at lunchtime.

Of Mistresses and Nostalgia
Late 19C and Early 20C - the flowering of French Romanticism and the English Song Revival (which includes three settings of Shakespeare's 'O Mistress Mine')

Dreadful Engines
An eclectic mix finishing with the extraordinary 'Let the Dreadful Engines' of Henry Purcell

Together with Anna Hopkins, Karen Stangham and Catherine Bown Hugh is a member of The Mirliton Flutes.

He also sings with the Jay Singers.
